Legal Quant PLLC respects your privacy. We strive to use information to provide the best possible service while respecting the confidentiality of information we are entrusted with. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we may receive or collect when you use our services, as well as some of the methods we use to safeguard your personal information.

1. Collection of personal information

We collect personal information in order to establish your account, and to understand your specific needs to serve you better. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable, such as your name, address, email address, credit and /or phone number. Legal Quant PLLC may use cookies and other technologies to enhance your online experience and to learn about how you use our website and services. Should you select such a link you will leave the Legal Quant PLLC website. Legal Quant PLLC does not control those sites nor their privacy practices, which may differ from Legal Quant PLLC’s practices and policies. Any personal data you choose to provide to or that is collected by such third parties is not in any way covered by the Legal Quant PLLC Privacy Policy. We recommend that you read over such website’s privacy policy before providing any personal information. A link to another website from Legal Quant PLLC does not constitute an endorsement or representation about the value, quality or usefulness of anything found on that third-party website.

5. Access to and accuracy of your information

Legal Quant PLLC strives to keep your personal information accurate and up-to-date. Towards this goal we utilize various technology, management processes and policies. As part of our overall data accuracy initiative Legal Quant PLLC provides you with reasonable access to your personal information so you may review and correct your information if needed. To safeguard your privacy and security, we will verify your identity through various means, such as by requiring a password and user ID, before granting access to your data. We ask that you update your information as and when it changes so any information used to serve you remains as accurate as possible.

6. Legal Quant LLC Data Security

“PII” means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person that you provide to Legal Quant PLLC or that Legal Quant PLLC otherwise acquires from or on behalf of you, your affiliates, or any of their respective personnel or agents in connection with the provision of services, whether in written, oral, electronic, or other form, and any copies thereof.

An identifiable person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.

Examples of PII include, but are not limited to, the following: account number (bank account, credit card, etc.), address, biometric identifier, license or identification number, date of birth, government identifiers (such as social security numbers), name, personnel number, photograph or video identifiable to an individual, vehicle identifier or serial number, and may also include other information related to an individual that may directly or indirectly identify the individual (e.g., salary, performance rating, purchase history, call history, etc.).

Legal Quant PLLC will implement and maintain reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to (i) ensure the security and confidentiality of PII; (ii) protect against anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of PII; and (iii) protect PII from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into due account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the PII.

Legal Quant PLLC shall comply with the confidentiality, privacy, and data security requirements of any federal, state, or local law or regulation in the United States that is applicable to it in connection with the performance of services under this Agreement. To the extent that any PII relates to a resident of Massachusetts and constitutes “Personal Information” as defined in 201 CMR 17.02 (as may be amended), Legal Quant PLLC shall also comply with the obligations of 201 CMR 17.00 et. seq. (as may be amended), entitled “Standards for the Protection of Personal Information of Residents of the Commonwealth,” with respect to such PII. 

If your business is located in any of the member states of the European Union, or otherwise has access to the PII of “data subjects” within the European Union for purposes of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), https://gdpr-info.eu, you agree to notify Legal Quant PLLC in writing or by e-mail and obtain Legal Quant PLLC’s consent prior to making any such PII available to Legal Quant PLLC, and to indemnify Legal Quant PLLC and hold it harmless from and against any liability Legal Quant PLLC may incur as a result of Legal Quant PLLC’s use of such PII in accordance with the provisions of Legal Quant PLLC’s privacy policy.
